Before you book

Meets at the main car park by Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, about five hours' drive east of Reykjavík on Route 1; look for the operator's 4x4 and guide 15 minutes before departure.
Runs roughly October to April; the glacier changes by the week, so the route may lead to an ice cave, a blue tunnel, a canyon or a crevasse rather than one named chamber.
Minimum age 10; not suitable for people with mobility impairments. The operator supplies a helmet and spikes; bring warm layers, a waterproof shell and ankle-supportive boots (rentals available).
Hotel pickup, food and drinks are not included. If the operator cancels for weather or glacier conditions, you get a full refund.

Meeting Point

370km east of Reykjavík, located by the main highway road number 1 is our meeting location at the famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. When driving the ring road you will see a big lagoon with floating icebergs, we are there at the main parking lot at the Glacier Lagoon next to the cafeteria.
